HQ Dental Can Offer a Range of Different Crown Treatments.

Dental crowns are a tried and trusted method of straightening and realigning crooked, broken, irregular or diseased natural teeth, creating the perfect smile without the need to wear corrective metal braces.

Metal Free Crowns

Properly designed and fitted, dental crowns are almost impossible to distinguish from a real tooth and if looked after well, can last for many years.

Dental crowns are one of the best and most effective forms of dental restoration.

Whether it’s reviving cracked teeth, diseased teeth or broken teeth, HQ Dental’s crowns can transform your smile.

A huge range of advanced dental crown solutions

In addition to conventionally produced gold, porcelain bonded to metal, composite or feldspathic porcelain crowns, we offer a full range of advanced restorations utilising press and CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) technologies.

From our digital suite, processing both digital and conventional impressions, we use CAD/CAM to produce zirconia, non-precious metal and PMMA restorations and substructures.

Our bespoke crown range is expertly hand-crafted for the finest aesthetic results.

Here’s what we can provide:

  • CAD/CAM-designed Zenith Zirconia – milled in-house or with top-of-the-range Lava

A temporary crown can also be created first in order to show the patient how their smile can be improved.

How do HQ Dental make crowns look like real teeth?

To look completely natural and totally convincing, every new crown needs to be as individual as you are.

At HQ Dental everything is custom-made in-house by our skilled technicians. This direct line of communication always guarantees the best possible results.

All our crown cases involve dental technician shade-taking, for the best aesthetic outcomes, every time.

What are dental crowds made of?

To survive the enormous forces of biting and chewing, all crowns need to be incredibly strong, which means they need to have a high-strength core material.

Conventional crowns have a cast metal core, but the very latest state-of-the-art crowns have a CAD/CAM designed zirconia core.

These fit more accurately and, because they are tooth-coloured all the way through, they look more natural too.

How we create the best outcomes for you

On top of the core material we build the crown up in different layers of porcelain. By doing so we can incorporate different colours and other internal characterisation.

These can include areas of opacity or translucency and even fluorescence. This porcelain is baked onto the core material.

Finally, we finish the crown by ‘glazing’ it with a layer of translucent porcelain. At this point we can also add surface staining for an even better result.

When a complex colour match is required we sometimes do this with you present for the best results possible.

We have years of experience in cosmetic dentistry, making us the number one choice for dental crowns in Leeds.

No matter your requirements, our dental care experts ensure the best possible results for your crowns.
